About the job
Schools are chronically underfunded, and regularly turn to outside fundraising groups to meet the gap between program dreams and financial reality. As parents ourselves, we want the best for our children, and that's why we deeply integrated fundraising into the ExtraServings Restaurant App.
Your mission, should you accept it, is to work both directly with schools and through school boards, to introduce our fundraising solution, and to help them make it a part of their ongoing fundraising efforts. There are over 4800 schools in Ontario alone. You and your teammates will be tasked with reaching as many as possible in the coming months and years.
We're looking for someone with experience working with school administration, both at the school and the board levels. You're highly motivated, empathetic, and find joy in helping fund education. While this is not strictly a "sales" position, you will be doing similar things - You'll be doing cold outreach, making regular presentations to school administrators, and will need to demonstrate our solution to them in an effective and professional manner.
Pay and benefits
This is a fully remote, full-time (40 hour per week) position. Your compensation will be based on your results. We anticipate you will be able to build a significant income stream within about 6 months.
Ideal applicants will be considered no matter where you live in Canada. However, training and company events will be held in Hamilton, ON, so it is best if you are able to attend in person.
